About Core Integration
DellaGrotte's Core Integration Method is a breakthrough technology for
improving overall structural health with a minimum of effort. After
participating in his program, participants reduce, and often eliminate,
joint pain (esp. knee, back, neck, elbow, wrist), sit and stand more
comfortably and have the experience of a body that truly supports them.
Core Integration is the
result of four decades of work by Dr. Josef Dellagrotte. It combines the
best techniques and learnings from the past 40 years - from Feldenkrais
to recent somatic science - to enable better posture, a stronger core and
greater overall health.
Moshe Feldenkrais
Our method is based on the principles of Dr.
Moshe Feldenkrais, biomechanics, exercise physiology and somatic arts
and sciences. The key is in connected movement using known biomechanical
pathways of movement transmission, a new approach and technology. You
begin by learning better body skills that emphasize less push-pull, more
flow, with less pain, more gain.
Core Integration is a foundation for all other exercise and
performance activities, as well as a therapeutic treatment education for
repetitive motion injuries, plus back, hip, knee and shoulder-neck pain
or chronic pain. Core Integration works on integration, not isolation,
using Dr. Feldenkrais' awareness through movement process.
The program is learned through seminars, DVDs and personal treatment
instruction, where possible. The goal is true upright posture,
flexibility, enhanced exercise ability for a lifetime of benefits - the
way your body was meant to be.
